YESSSS!!! Finally im done with my BTT summative and im off to play some games :)

I hand it in everything i said on my last post. But i couldnt hand it in my rough budget and business idea because our school's printer wasnt working so i had to wait and hand those in later on.

Well i think im up to date , WE still have to present our stocks project tommaro..

Big Summative project

Here are the things that we have to do for our project:

-Business name
-Business idea
-Business budget
-Business registration
-Business domain search
-Business logo
-Business card
-Business brochure
-Business website

All of these things are due on this thursday. I'm still working on my business brochure and website. Well anyways I have to go and work now.

Because your business must be legal in the province of Ontario, you need to be aware of the regulations that affect your new venture.
so these are the stuff that you need to know:

Registering your business name: so registering your business name is just registering your business in ontario. You can easily register a business name by either going on internet or either mail the company to register. The registering fee is $60 by using internet or $80 by sending a mail. To register you go to : www.mgs.gov.on.ca.

Taxes:
-Income tax
Businesses must pay taxes on their income to both the federal and provincial governments. To calculate your income tax you have to use this formula: your profit-your gross income or revenue-your legitimate expenses.
-Goods and Services Tax (GST)
so GST cost 6 cent per all the good sold in ontario.

now we have are last big project!! We have to create and plan a viable small business that could operate as a summer employment opportunity for you during the summer. That things that we have to do first is :

develop an idea for a business;
-create a business plan; and
-create a budget

now I have to think of something... so ill post what im going to do next.

Macromedia Flash Player

Today Mr.Case showed us how to use Macromedia Flash player. Flash is used for making advertisements on a web site, or even making a cartoon using this program. Macromedia it is kind of easy to use. Now im going to explain how to use this awesome program.

Flash can create two types of tweened animation using time line: Motion Tween& Shape Tween.Motion tween is nothing but tweening a Symbol's movement from one position to another. To make the motion move all you have to do is provide Flash with Symbol's initial position, provide Flash with Symbol's initial position. These are the steps that you have to follow to make the motion work:

1. Open a new flash file (Ctrl+N).
New Document window will appear.Select General panel and choose Type: Flash Document . Press OK.
2. If your time line window is not open, press (Ctrl+Alt+T).
3. Now you can see a single Layer called "Layer1" in your timeline Window.
4. Select the first frame. Put your picture in the frame. File>Import>Import to Stage, or just press (Ctrl+R).
5. Right now your Symbol is in frame1 of Layer1. Select frame 20 and press F6 to insert a new key frame.
6. Select any frame between, 2 to 19 and select Motion from the tween pop-up menu in the Property inspector.
7. Now press (Ctrl+Enter) to view your motion tween.

That is what we learned in class basically. Mr.Case also told us to make a very small Flash for our homework.

Today Mr.Case told us to make a flyer , newspaper , or brochure about a subject that you like and you need to advertise it. To do this he told us to use Microsoft Publisher. First he showed us all the cool things about Microsoft Publisher and how many people use this program to make flyers , signs and alot more. Publisher kinda looks like Microsoft word and powerpoint joined together. Anyways he told us to make a flyer, newspaper , or brochure about a subject of your choice using publisher. Now I am working on my project , and im doing on Family studies since many people like to make food and eat them, so I find it easier to advertise.

Im going to post more about publisher on my next post.
